Melbourne Museum required an update to its display infrastructure for the upcoming exhibition cycle. The project involved conducting technical audits of existing showcases, assessing their structural and mechanical integrity, and refurbishing key components to meet current display and conservation standards.


Systematic Technical Audit & Hardware Updating
Detailing the diagnostic inspection of structural sub-frames, security lock mechanisms, hinges, and access panels across the showcase fleet. Outlining the mechanical updates and hardware servicing executed to restore smooth operation and security integrity.
Enclosure Refurbishment & Interior Surface Adaptation
Outlining the updating of internal display decks, sealing gaskets, and exterior base housings to prepare the enclosures for new artefact layouts, ensuring secure containment and aesthetic consistency across the gallery space.
