Architectural Cadence and Curatorial Display

Kinematic Casework and Invisible Security
The lower casework incorporates an advanced functional layer, where the operable ‘drawers’ function as self-contained, flush digital retrieval interfaces, extending the capabilities of the larger dial stations to a more intimate scale. Releasing with precise, weighted movement, these integrated screens display high-resolution virtualisations of archived assets behind protective glazing, navigated via a dedicated weighted brass knob. The exterior faces maintain visual continuity through fluted half-dowel timber millwork and recessed semicircular brass handles.
Securing these interactive display drawers relies on an invisible electronic defence network. Automated locking systems and solenoid latches integrate directly into the rear slide rails of the internal chassis, completely removing the need for conventional keyholes. This understated engineering preserves the clean vertical lines of the fluted woodwork, keeping the lounge environment visually uninterrupted.
